Solaris (they/them) is a graduate of Discovery Point School of Massage. Their training includes a foundation in Swedish massage, neuromuscular and myofascial work, injury recovery, lymphatic facilitation, and Reiki. They are strengthening their focus on myofascial work for emotional regulation and trauma processing through a mentorship with Dawn Schmidt, LMT in 2024. Solaris approaches healing work from a social justice perspective, situating each individual within the larger, often oppressive systems we all live under. In an effort to provide equitable access to care for all clients, they manage a donation system to offer free or reduced massages to BIPOC, LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and farm-working clients on the island.
