Alexa Severtsen is a Washington State licensed massage therapist. She has been working as a sports massage therapist for 20 years. She creates custom massages for endurance athletes who are either training for an event or are recovering from a soft tissue injury. She has worked with professional track runners, marathon runners, cyclists, triathletes, trail runners, climbers, skiers, mountain bikers, dancers, equestrian riders, baseball and softball players and soccer players. She's familiar with all the over-use injuries that occur with these sports and uses a variety of techniques to alleviate discomfort and pain including cupping, gua sha, deep tissue, stretching, myofasical release, trigger point release and PNF.
