I am an Integrative Medical Massage Therapist. A medical massage differs from a luxury or Swedish massage in terms of focus. Whereas a luxury massage in intended to provide relaxation, a medical massage is intended to assess the root cause of your pain or dysfunction and treat it. An integrative massage is one that is not limited to a specific technique or modality, instead using a variety of modalities to help the client achieve their goals.
