Heather McCutcheon is a Reiki practitioner and instructor, massage therapist, author, and founder of the Reiki Brigade. She and more than 20 volunteers introduce the benefits of Reiki via presentations and hands-on demonstrations. Since 2011 they have offered more than 5,700, ten-minute Reiki demos to the CPD, homeless veterans, medical students and faculty, etc. Heather has received awards for her humanitarian efforts, been published in numerous trade magazines and written a book, Connecting the Dots: from ad exec to energy practitioner. Her story begins with a naive girl and ends with a confident woman challenging established social institutions by combining ancient healing modalities with modern communications technologies.
