About

Dr. Marta Helliesen brings an extensive academic background, combined with years of clinical experience, to her comprehensive work with physical and emotional pain. She holds a doctorate in Neuroscience & Psychology and Sexology, a master’s degree in Physiology, is a Gestalt Psychotherapist, Licensed Massage Therapist, and a Movement Expert. She has spent a lifetime studying and working with people, and is always on top of cutting edge research in the fields that apply to her clinical work. Marta is currently working out of her clinic in North Miami, where she helps clients, of all ages and genders, with a variety of complex chronic and acute pain conditions.
