Self care is the first step to being healthy. Massage therapy is a wonderful way to get you on the road to health and well-being. It reintroduces you to your body, it helps you re-connect with your body, and aids in the overall self-care, self-healing process. My approach to massage is true therapy. My goal is to elicit change in the muscle fibers. Yes, you still receive the positive side effects of massage such as relaxation, the ability to sleep better, increased circulation, etc., however, I love to get my fingers, arms, hands, and elbows in to the tissue to “retrain” it so you have less pain, more movement, and basically feel better. Today is always a good day for massage!
